I am a brand and Showit Design Partner on a mission to help creative and authentic business owners make an impact with design.
I discovered my love for design in 2011, when I would endlessly doodle and draw logos for my friends in my sketchbook. I turned my craft into a career in 2015 and haven’t looked back since. I feel immensely honored to be trusted by small businesses across the United States, and cherish every brand transformation that results from those projects.
What is most crucial to me when designing brand identities or websites is that each small business owner feels understood and cared for.
As a fellow small business owner, I deeply appreciate the passion and dedication that you pour into your business; when I work with you, I treat your business with the same care and attention as I treat my own. My ultimate goal is to provide an exceptional, personal experience that creates a memorable impression in the minds and hearts of your clients.
During the height of the pandemic, I passed the time by reading books I had always intended to read but didn’t previously make time for. Not only do I love books, but I love a good “book environment”. By that I mean, I love whiling away a summer afternoon at the beach with a book; or similarly, a blustery winter evening with my cat by my side.
I come from a scrabble-playing family who loves a good trivia tidbit in basically any form. I'm a jeopardy-watching, Wordle-playing, NYT crossword-completing word nerd. Fun fact: My love of words led me to complete an English degree before I switched careers! I also met my husband at bar trivia in 2017, so our mutual love of trivia must have paid off!
This sweet, floofy, gorgeous princess of a cat provides all the much-needed cuddle breaks a gal could ask for, and then some. In fact, she will often attempt to lay in my arms while I’m working, and stare at me until I give her pets and chin scratches. She’s a gentle, social tabby cat, and we are so lucky we get to live with such a sweetie!
I love cooking. Specifically, to me that means trying some brand new spices, reading Milk Street cookbooks, watching YouTube chefs and Stanley Tucci's Searching for Italy, going to local cooking classes where I live, trying new restaurants, recipes, and/or ingredients, and hoping to one day host a dinner party for friends who live nearby.
I believe that travel is one of the best cures for loneliness and passivity, and by trial and error, I’ve perfected the art of sleeping during an overnight flight. Since we have been married, my husband and I have traveled to Greece, Mexico, Cyprus, England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, and we’re not done yet!
